ELIZABETH HONAN
Elizabeth Honan is a Creative Director and Choreographer who has firmly established herself as one of the UK’s most respected creative forces. With over 18 years’ experience, she has built an exceptional portfolio spanning television, commercials, music videos, and high-profile stadium and arena tours for No. 1 artists—earning her a reputation as a sought-after visionary and campaign creator.
Elizabeth has a strong portfolio of primetime entertainment television for both the BBC and ITV, including contributing to the much-loved series Strictly Come Dancing, where she creates spectacular one-off group routines with the professional dancers and memorable Couple’s Choice performances. In 2022, her performances for Fleur & Vito and Helen & Gorka both achieved 40 points, the highest score possible, attracting major attention and acclaim. In 2019, her ‘Met Gala’ creative and choreography was highlighted as one of the show’s standout openings, and her work continues to receive exceptional audience and media response.
Elizabeth holds a long-standing role as Creative Director on Britain’s Got Talent, contributing to its continued success, including BAFTA wins in 2018 and 2019. She was also BAFTA-nominated for her work as Creative Director on The Masked Singer, the extraordinary singing competition that captivated the nation and later went on to film both the first and second series of The Masked Dancer, the popular spin-off. Additional television credits include Creative Director roles on ITV’s Starstruck, Paramount’s international extravaganza Queen of the Universe, and Netflix’s innovative new format Building the Band.
Alongside television, Elizabeth has played a major role in some of the UK’s largest live music events. For over a decade, she has been Show Producer and Creative Director for Capital FM’s flagship concerts: Capital’s Summertime Ball at Wembley Stadium and Capital’s Jingle Bell Ball at The O2 Arena. These annual events feature the world’s biggest music artists and consistently deliver sell-out spectaculars. In addition to delivering 35+ stadium and arena shows for Capital, Elizabeth has created and choreographed 30+ individual tours for some of the biggest names in pop music, and was also Show Producer of Classic FM Live at The Royal Albert Hall.
Elizabeth has also created and choreographed four landmark BRIT Awards performances: Girls Aloud – The Promise, Cheryl – Fight For This Love, Little Mix – Black Magic, and Little Mix – Shout Out To My Ex. Both Little Mix performances were later recognised among the most celebrated in the event’s history, with Girls Aloud and Cheryl’s performances also featured in lists of the BRITs’ all-time favourites.
Her artist collaborations include Little Mix, Girls Aloud, Cheryl, One Direction, Olly Murs, Shania Twain, Perrie, KSI, James Arthur, JLS, Robin Thicke and Justin Timberlake, among many others. These collaborations have often become long-standing relationships—leading to sell-out tours and major one-off televised performances.
